TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE- SOLAR ENERGY

Salary $100-$150K p/a based on experience

Position Summary

Are you a Solar Sales Specialist and looking to further your career?  Are you interested in representing a world leading solar product range to residential customers, receiving ongoing training in sales, solar and battery storage solutions? If you are motivated to work in a fast paced, goal-oriented work environment and would like to earn 150K plus* per annum then read on.

ZEN is currently recruiting an experienced and highly driven solar sales performer to join their sales team. The successful candidate will be a passionate and technically astute sales professional with the ability to deliver high value, turn-key solutions to residential customers.

Based in our Parnell office, the successful candidate will work with a broad range of prospective residential customers across New Zealand and help them achieve their desired outcomes, based on their budget and their lifestyle and further grow the profile of the ZEN product range and residential business.

Scope

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for a focused range of tasks, which include:

  • qualifying customer needs and wants
  • quickly building customer rapport to support their desired outcomes
  • consistently achieve individual sales targets
  • maximising each sales lead to achieve individual and team goals
  • assessing the solar requirements of each home, as every opportunity is different
  • providing their system designer with the correct information to design suitable solutions
  • delivering polished and professional sales presentations to residential customers
  • effectively managing your sales pipeline using a CRM / ERP system to ensure maximum success from opportunities
  • following company processes and procedures, ensuring accurate information is gathered at each stage
  • punctuality and focus on customer outcomes
  • build on-going relationships through professional and timely customer service
  • completion of sales related tasks and timely provision of information to assist project delivery
  • providing input to marketing initiatives developed for the company
  • support and contribute to a positive work culture
  • attend and actively contribute to sales meetings

You will combine your proven sales skills and experience with sound technical knowledge to further grow the profile of the product range and residential business. You will enjoy a fast paced, goal oriented work environment where you can use your expertise to develop and grow this position.
