ZEN recently installed solar on the Cain Road building in Penrose, Auckland, a new 6,000sqm warehouse and office developed by the James Kirkpatrick Group, targeting a 6 Green Star rating and setting new standards for low-carbon construction.

Following ZEN's installation at the L'Oréal Distribution Centre last September, ZEN partnered with the Group again on one of Auckland's most sustainable industrial building sites. The 163.8kW system was built using 252 high-performance, new 650W LONGi panels, paired with a 110kW hybrid inverter from Sigenergy — giving new tenants substantial free power to take advantage of during daytime business hours.

It's a great example of what's possible when design, sustainability and long-term performance come together to elevate an established industrial precinct.
