Finnerty Farms: Goat and Dairy farm, Waikato

Interest from farmers regarding solar on farms has exploded over the last few months. We were therefore delighted when we were approached by Ang and Dean from the Waikato region, to provide solar energy across two sites, for both their goat and diary farms.

Finnerty Farms were keen to see a strong ROI from their solar install and help to cut costs to support their daily operations. After rising pressure for farmers, especially goat farmers, the farms were keen to see the impact solar could have on their bottom line. Our sales manager, Dan, attended site to conduct a thorough site study and determine which system would be best for Ang and Dean to meet their objectives. This resulted in a premium design with top-end technology and monitoring which would help support their cost saving objectives, whilst ensuring their ROI was solid and would set the farm up to withstand any energy fluctuations for years to come.
