Sawmill Brewery: Solar powered brews to match sustainability values

Sawmill Brewery wanted to offset their energy-intensive operations and create a greener brewery to allow them to live their community-oriented values. The Sawmill Brewery team approached ZEN Energy in 2018 to investigate their options in solar power generation, primarily to offset this high electricity usage. Their key consideration was sustainability to align with their brand values, as well as future-proofing the business for generations to come.

In 2025, Sawmill have looked to expand their system as their output and operations have scaled, which is an exciting opportunity for ZEN to update their system and ensure it is even more efficient with the latest technology.
